Site Build It! Diaries, Day 5

Today was the day I chose my domain!  I sort of solidified how I was going to handle the content today and then registered www.free-online-rpg-addiction.com after a couple of quick checks to make sure I wasn't stealing someone else's trademarks.  I've determined that I'm going to tilt my content in this direction:

* Helping people find where all those fun free rpgs are

* Helping people understand how to play them

* Reviewing them

* Offering strategy guides for them (or plotting and playing guides in the case of text based, open ended, story centered free online rpgs).

I was able to double check that there were, in fact, Google Ad Sense ads that might show up on my site, and I already know from a casual glance of the internet that there are plenty of visual ads that could end up paying me for the site.  So for this, my monetization model is pure infopreneur.

I know given my time basis that getting the content together will be slow.  I'll need to compile lists, play some games.  After all I only play some of the "free online rpgs" that are out there.

Wouldn't it be sweet if I could all but support myself on the Site Build It! income?  Then everything I make through my other business becomes savings, gravy, and fun money.  That would be a wonderful way to end this adventure.  I can't wait to see some of your Site Build It sites as well.   Hopefully some of our community members here will start posting about them.  It's a legitimate reason to leave a backlink in the blog comment; those come around maybe once every century.

So here's hoping that I managed all these numbers correctly!  Day 5 is full of lots of advice on how to write and what to write. NOT my problem!  As I'm sure everyone can tell by now, I pretty much have no trouble doing those two things whatsoever; it looks like the days ahead are going to have a lot more for my right brain.  Which is good.  My left, analytical brain is puny and tired!
